Ayrmer was designed with the intention of creating a customisable multi functional seating system.

Inspired by and named after Ayrmer Cove, the journey began in Devon and led me to the Isle of Bute where I sourced 100% natural woolden fabrics, chosen not only for their sustainability credentials and their quality, but also in an attempt to mimic the colours and textures found within the coastline surrounding Ayrmer Cove.

The design has endless possibilities of customisation. It consists of three parts, a seat shell and backrest made of moulded plywood which is then upholstered, and a tubular steel frame.
